We train to go from a peaceful state/panic state into straight-out combat. assaults are often unpredictable, we strive to always be ready, to make valid real-time decisions whether it be to fight back or walk away to avoid conflict.

+ PRINCIPLES OF KRAV MAGA +
DEFEND - CONTROL - COUNTER STRIKE - DISARM or DISENGAGE
Comabitives (Striking) + Ground Fighting + Chokes & Holds + Weapon Defences
- It's not until you commit, that you'll see just how strong, brave, and powerful you'll become.
- We can't control our luck, so.. we put in the work.
- Self Defence training is the ultimate tool to discover your full potential.
- No one has the right to dictate your worth physically, mentally, emotionally, or verbally.
- Never let anyone take away your power. Stand tall, and never be quiet when you as a person or a loved one are being threatened.
- Self-Defence is an effective tool to train yourself to be a Stronger, tougher, and more mindful person.
- You must always be ready. You never know when an attack may occur. There are no rules or time for you to “Warm-up and stretch”.
- Say goodbye to the sports mentality, It’s not about “winning” in a particularly violent or threatening encounter. It’s about surviving and escaping to a safe point. This can be as simple as identifying all the closest fire escapes and exits in your vicinity.
- You don’t get to pick what kinds of BAD things will happen to you. Violence is extremely complex and for the most part out of our control.
- Preparing for “one thing” will not save you from “ALL THINGS”. Training under pressure and in many scenarios will train your body and mind to “FLICK THE SWITCH”. What may work in training may not work on the street. It’s important to be equipped with all the tools so that when one fails, the other steps in.
- SELF-DEFENCE is RECOVERY from being in a position of bad luck, finding yourself in a position you would have given almost anything to prevent.
- “RECOVERY” is the critical element of overcoming the initial surprise and shock aka “The Freeze” SO YOU CAN ACT!! Learning to Flip the Switch from Flight to Fight.
- It’s through moments of surprise, pain, and fear we learn. We have to be patient during this process.
- Learning the legal justifications for applying self-defense skills and techniques. We never want to hurt anyone, even out of panic. De-escalation is paramount to our teachings, Plan A. Should that fail, a justified response in good judgment to your safety is justified.
- "PREDATORS". These people don’t want to be tested. They don’t want to find out what their limitations are. They pick their victims (mostly non-threatening) so they can do the job with ease and get out of there. “Like a lion waiting for the weakest animal in the herd that is least likely to kick effectively so it can preserve its energy and fight”.
- They use the elements of Surprise, numbers, weapons, and size as a cheat sheet to overwhelm their prey as they initiate threats and attacks.
- True PREDATORS are unpredictable. The predatory mindset of an assault is powerful, cold-blooded, calculating, and for the most part, utterly controlled. While some attacks can be random they likely execute what they feel is an easy target.
- Tunnel vision can be deadly, that's we train and drill against multiple attackers.
- WHEN A PERSON CAN BREAK OUT OF THE FREEZE MINDSET EARLY IN THE ATTACK BY ACTIVATING A REVERSE “ATTACK MODE” AKA THE “PREDATOR MINDSET” THE ELEMENT OF SHOCK AND SURPRISE IS SWITCHED!
ALWAYS BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS.
